"When we Were Friends" is the first single from our brand new album!
This track was written by Brent Shreds and features Daniel Hovis on bass guitar and harmonies, Stephen Hubbell on percussion, the dazzling Delaney Henry on vocals and the legendary Kevin Patterson on multiple snare drums to give it that "one-man marching drum-line' feel you hear in the beginning. This track and the entire album was mixed and mastered and engineered by the one and only Paul Francis at GET RIGHT RECORDING in Yucca Valley, CA.
lyrics
You have the bluest eyes ive ever seen in my life
staring straight back in mine it always feels right
Darling you're out of sight
i can't wait to see you tonight
But when We were FRIENDS
i would watch you from a far
now and again I thank my lucky STARS
can we pretend that i am wherever you are?
I'll sing this little song to you and let you know my LOVE is true.
You have the brightest smile i've seen i a long while.
your lips are "oh-so-fine"
when they are pressed to mine
so Darling please pucker up
i just can't get enough
